At our Rekindling Retreats, we welcome up to 20 married couples for a weekend dedicated to exploring and celebrating God’s intention for romantic and relational intimacy in marriage. This retreat addresses spiritual and practical tips for a deeper connection with one another in matters of romance and intimacy.

"SELAH" RETREATS

Learn To Live Contemplatively

Starting at the beginning of September, Francois Fineberg will host a monthly "Selah" Retreat on the LEGACY campus to guide participants through a 24-hour contemplative retreat. It is for 10 participants, from Saturday at 10 am to Sunday at 10 am.

Cost: Free of Charge, but Donations are welcome.

We’re a few months late…but we wanted to officially announce Patrick Trammell as our new Director of Operations at LEGACY! Patrick has been involved with the ministry for many years as both a student and a friend. He is passionate about authentic Christian community, relationships, and hospitality that allows people to feel at ease to rest and be themselves. He’ll be working alongside the LEGACY team as we move into our upcoming summer semester and programs this fall.

Familiar and new LEGACY students spent this weekend at the March Intensive making much of God and sharing in fellowship surrounding the topic ‘Baptism in the Holy Spirit.’

This lovely Alabama spring weather is getting us excited and expectant for this Summer Semester and all it will hold!

“We have been buried therefore with Him through baptism into His death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

On this Thursday we get to hear what God has been doing in Seth Carden’s life through LEGACY’s 2024 Summer and Fall semester!

March is just around the corner! LEGACY will be hosting another beautiful intensive for anyone 18 or older. We have a plethora of spots for guys, and a few more left for girls! Snag a spot and join us for a 3 day experience March 7-9th, where we are learning to live intentionally with, in, and through Christ.

This past week we had the privilege of hosting @inspero.birmingham for their annual Vision Retreat. Their collective of creatives, artists, and songwriters came and filled our spaces with beauty! Just wanted to highlight what an honor it is to allow our property to be utilized by other ministries, gatherings, and private events!

If you have been around LEGACY for the last several years, then these two should look familiar. To say that Carlton and Joe have been pillars of LEGACY during our “Still Woods Campus Era” is an understatement. In their time on staff, they have enriched the ministry in word and deed and so much more. We are deeply thankful for the time we had with them as apart of the full-time LEGACY staff, and wanted to publicly express our gratefulness for our years of Kingdom work together. We bless you both as you head into this new season and we are excited to see all that the Lord has in store!

Today we remember the gift of a table, the gift of His people, the gift of toil and beauty, and feasting on everything He has provided.

The garden has been a labor of love the past year or so at Legacy. As the summer season ends, so does our harvest of peppers, tomatoes, and basil. The fall is approaching along with peas and winter greens. 🍅🫛🍂

This Tuesday we are starting to highlight some of the students who are currently going through the Fall ‘24 semester here at Legacy! 🍂
